<p>
Generally:
<ol>
<li><b><font color=ff0000>do not scan at a resolution higher than 150dpi.</b></font><p>
<li><b><font color=ff0000>if you know you are going to be printing in black and white scan as greyscale</b></font> this will save you filespace and time.<p>
<li><b><font color=ff0000>Save as a .jpg</b></font>
