Boasted work / boaster / bolster / cleaner / tooler / pinch / scutch
- stonework which has been roughly blocked out prior to being carved; also,
masonry finished with a a boaster or bolster a wide flat cold chisel
ranging from two-and-a-half to three inches
in width. A cleaner or tooler also a wide chisel is over three inches. A pinch or scutch is the term
given to narrower chisels.
