Compo (Composition)
- mainly used to refer to a reconstituted stone finish used in
Victorian
times which was capable of being worked like plaster.
More properly, it is a superior plaster
which had size, resin and linseed oil worked into it, where a harder finish was required as for
example, in picture frames.
