Welcome... how's about that.... three new panoramas for you
Well folks - that's it - apart from a bit of reordering and shuffling the contents the pictures are up - hurrah!!! The images from a marvellous New Year trip with Willis's Walkabouts Bushwalking Holidays. I wasn't the guide then, it was my first trip with Mr Willis but it was so good we are saved our pennies and had our next trip out with Willis too - a fabulous two weeks doing the Bungles in the Wet 2008 (Read more about Willis's Walkabouts Kimberley and Pilbara Trips).
Now we're hooked and in 2009 had two outstanding weeks in the Karijini National Park (Read more about Willis's Walkabouts Karijini National Park trip).
Most recently the 6 week epic Kimberley Coast Explorer 2011 - in a very wet Wet, one tropical low that didn't quite make it to Cyclone status, but had the area on alert (the eye passed over us!) and the edge of Cyclone Errol. Excellent!
Also - I'm quite pleased! (or maybe smug - apologies for that).
These pictures (the three below) made the semi-final of the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award 2007
My first bash - clearly I need some refinement... but not too bad I hope!
Latest - lots more views..... these now have been split into three sections in broad stone-water-wood divisions depending on the main focus of the view.... still trying to decide if this works for me...
Pictures on this site have been taken using the Canon EOS 20D (with lenses - EFS 17-85/f4-5.6, EFS 60/f2.8 Macro and
yes I was even fool enough to lug the DO IS 70-300/f4.5-5.6 and EF25 II extension tube with me... but without it, no good Arnhem Four-bar sword-tail).
These are the first of the Canon shots online....
They have been resized for onscreen use - high resolution images are also available for printing... or as prints. Please contact and acknowledge me if you do want to use any of the images.

Shoot it Archive (now jolly out of date)
and Shoot it site
For you Internet Explorer version... whatever... people out there - if you click on the wide panorama thumbnails and don't get a screen-depth panorama to scroll along (ie it automatically resizes the whole thing to fit in the window.... thanks very much Microsoft... if I wanted it window size I would have sized it myself and saved the download times) then there are two things you can do.
1. Click on the thumbnail then point at the resulting fit-in-window version until
, the resize button appears in the right bottom corner
of the picture - click on it and enjoy the panorama as intended. Or these days I think you get a soppy little magnifying glass symbol - try that too......
2. Go to your settings for your Browser (may vary slightly form version to version) - Tools -> Internet Options... -> Advanced tab -> Scroll down to "Multimedia" and untick the "Enable Automatic Image Resizing" option -> Click OK. Enjoy the whole site and the rest of the planet's sites as the creators intended, as opposed to how Microsoft think you want to see it.... not that I've got a social hymenopteran in my bonnet about this.... ahem.
... um yes, and newer versions of Netscape.... click on the resized panoramas with the little magnifying-glass icon to see the full size one.... apparently....
