Basic philosophy of the Shoot it site - keep it natural. There are no studio shots here.... no sneaky light boxes....
Although the majority are out in the wild, some beasts are
in Zoological Gardens or Wildlife Preserves, and occasionally participants are on the payroll... ie they get fed. But the very large majority are out there, running around wild, just as they should be... now, please, keep still for the camera!
Most pictures on this site have been taken using the Canon 20D (from May 2005) and now the 40D since 20D lost it's marbles in June 2008.
And now Kimberley Coast 2011 - all new from the new Olympus E-P2 - yup, I'm back with Oly! How could we ever have parted?
